Your paint library

Accent and trim suggestions chosen from the paints you actually use.

Swatcher suggests accents and trims from every paint in the catalogue. But a painter often works from one or two ranges, a designer from a favoured handful, and a small brand from its own. We're considering a way to bring that set to Swatcher and get suggestions from it alone.

It isn't built yet. If it sounds useful, tell us how you would use it, and it shapes what we make first.

How it would work

Bring your paints

Load the paints you actually work from: a brand’s range, a fan deck, the tins on your van. A list of names and colour values is enough.

Get accents and trims from that set

Pick a main colour and see which of your paints would sit beside it as an accent or a trim. Only paints you can really get, never a colour you would have to mix from scratch.

Tune it until it is right

Push the trim whiter or warmer, the accent bolder or calmer, and see the suggestions change as you go.

Tell us if you'd use it

A line about how you would use it is the most useful thing you can send.

One email when there is something to try. Nothing else.
